Chris Floyd, a member of the Rolls-Royce Energy Board, and Business Development Director for Rolls-Royce plc., has been elected as the new President of EUTurbines. He succeeds Gerhard W. Reiff who has represented the association since 2007.

Chris Floyd has broad expertise in all fields of power generation including industrial applications, and is deeply involved in the development of future energy technologies. "This knowledge fits perfectly with the needs of an industry which provides the core component in most of the power generation technologies using nuclear, fossil and renewable sources" says Matthias Zelinger, Secretary General of EUTurbines.
