Industrial Policy

Industry is Europe’s backbone. A competitive industry is imperative for Europe to maintain its technological global leadership. The implementation of the EU Industrial Strategy should boost the European industry’s competitiveness and ensure economic growth and qualified jobs. For EUTurbines, this should include the support to European manufacturing jobs through a strong European supply chain, a well-functioning home market for advanced technologies as well as favourable export conditions and open global markets.

The Clean Hydrogen Alliance needs to give a strong signal on an increased demand for clean hydrogen and the need to further develop its infrastructure.

In connection with the EU climate and energy plans, the Clean Hydrogen Alliance will be a key platform to kick-start the hydrogen economy and foster the development of a European hydrogen-related industry. It is essential that the Alliance provides its first deliverables soon – giving a strong signal on an increased demand for clean hydrogen and the need to further develop the related infrastructure. Future projects should include the demonstration of hydrogen-based power generation, an important element of a climate-neutral and integrated energy system.

EUTurbines is an active partner of the Industry4Europe coalition since its creation and is also member of the Clean Hydrogen Alliance.
