The decarbonisation of the gas network will not happen overnight. In the coming years, increasing amounts of renewable and low-carbon gases – hydrogen being the most prominent – will be introduced into the system. Gas-based technologies need to be prepared for these changes as they come.

H2-Readiness is not enough: a supportive framework is needed.

In addition to the technology’s H2-Readiness, the availability of hydrogen for power plants and supportive business models are the essential blocks to make hydrogen power generation a reality
