Joint statement on the importance of fluoropolymers for the clean energy transition and the EU’s Net Zero Industry

Together with 14 other signatories, we urge legislators to reconsider the inclusion of fluoropolymers in PFAS restrictions in favour of a balanced, proportionate approach. Such an approach should not jeopardize the substantial investments, totalling hundreds of billions of euros, in European clean technology. These technologies are pivotal in our efforts to decarbonise Europe.
