The review of the Network Code on Requirements for Generators (NC RfG) aims to further harmonise grid connection requirements across the EU and make them future-proof, which is crucial for accelerating the energy transition and avoiding unnecessary costs.
However, this joint industry declaration by technology manufacturers and certification bodies highlights a lack of clarity on two key issues: the aggregation rules for all Power Generating Modules (PGMs) and the process for certifying equipment compliance.
