Open Letter from EU Industries on Electricity Trading between the EU and the UK

Europe’s industries are seriously challenged by high energy prices, with industry in Europe paying electricity prices 2-3 times higher than that in the US and China.
We call for policy measures to reduce the energy price burden on industrial energy consumers, including the reestablishment of a system price coupling in electricity between the EU and the UK as the most viable market mechanism.
